Salsa Recipe of the Month
Casa Maria Sea Bass
I love this way of cooking fish as it is so simple and it has a hint of Mexican flavours.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- Two large fillets of Sea Bass or Hake
- 3 Shallots finely chopped
- 1 Garlic clove
- 4 tbsp. of Marias original red salsa.
- Juice of one lime or lemon.
- Extra virgin Olive oil.
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Gently saut the onions and garlic and put to one side.
- Preheat oven at 200 C.
- Season the fish on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven proof frying pan, place the fish fillets skin down, for about 4 min. Turn the fish over and mix lime juice and Marias salsa with the sauted onion and garlic before pouring into the pan with the fish. Put it in the oven and bake for 15 min.
Serve with home-made chips and a green salad. Uhmm.Delicioso!!!!
Note. If you want more spice add more salsa to taste.
