“The Mexican Way”
In Mexico salsas are simply heated up and placed in a bowl at the table as a condiment alongside any food or dish. People can then add as little, or as much as they want depending on how hot or spicy they would like their food.
Alternatively try the following:
- On poached or fried eggs.
- Over cheese on toast.
- With pasties or pies.
- Use it as a spicy, sugar free alternative to ketchup.
- As a marinade to chicken and meat
- To spice up your own dishes or pasta sauces.
Salsita Verde is delicious gently heated and poured on to fish, chicken cheesy dishes etc.
